Cerium Ionization Energy

The Cerium Ionization Energy is the energy required to remove from atom one mole of electrons with subsequent production of positively charged ion of Cerium.
Ce -> Ce+ + e-
This process can be repeated many times, but the energy cost is increased dramatically. The general equation for the Cerium is:
CeN+ -> Ce(N+1)+ + e-

Ionization Energy

Ce -> Ce1+ = 527.4 kJ/mol = 126.17 Kcal/mol
Ce1+ -> Ce2+ = 1047 kJ/mol = 250.48 Kcal/mol
Ce2+ -> Ce3+ = 1949 kJ/mol = 466.27 Kcal/mol
Ce3+ -> Ce4+ = 3547 kJ/mol = 848.56 Kcal/mol
Ce4+ -> Ce5+ = 6800 kJ/mol = 1626.79 Kcal/mol
Ce5+ -> Ce6+ = 8200 kJ/mol = 1961.72 Kcal/mol
Ce6+ -> Ce7+ = 9700 kJ/mol = 2320.57 Kcal/mol
Ce7+ -> Ce8+ = 11800 kJ/mol = 2822.97 Kcal/mol
Ce8+ -> Ce9+ = 13200 kJ/mol = 3157.89 Kcal/mol
Ce9+ -> Ce10+ = 14700 kJ/mol = 3516.75 Kcal/mol
