Cerous selenate, Ce2(SeO4)3

Cerous selenate, Ce2(SeO4)3, and hydrates with 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11, and 12H2O have been described by Cingolani, while Jolin has described hydrates with 6 and 9H2O. The hydrates are less soluble in hot than in cold water. The following double salts have been prepared by Jolin: Ce2(SeO4)3.5K2SeO4; Ce2(SeO4)3.(NH4)2SeO4.9H2O; Ce2(SeO4)3.Na2SeO4.5H2O.
